Jamoo Design Studio is an interior design practice based in Tokyo and Kobe, working across a range of spatial and related design fields.

We believe in first reading what is already present in a place—the passage of time, light, materials, and the movement of people—before giving it form. Through research, we carefully consider the contexts and relationships behind what is visible, seeking a way of shaping space that feels natural to each place.

Our work is not simply about composing materials, colors, and forms. It is about clarifying the meanings behind them and quietly preserving what matters. Rather than making an excessive statement, we aim to create spaces with a natural presence, where the character of a place can endure over time.

私たちは、形を与える前に、その場所にすでにある時間、光、素材、 人の動きを読み取ることを大切にしています。リサーチを通して、 目に見えるものの背後にある文脈や関係性を丁寧に捉え、 その場所にとって自然な空間のあり方を考えます。

素材や色、かたちを整えることだけではなく、背景にある意味を整理し、 必要なものを静かに残していく。過度に主張するのではなく、 自然な佇まいの中に、その場所らしさが長く残る空間を目指しています。
