一般的なテナントビルでは、建築の共用部とテナント専有部のデザインが切り離されることが多い。ここではファサード、エントランス、各階のセットアップオフィスまでを一つの連続した空間として捉え、建築とインテリアの境界を越えて計画している。
街路から建物の隙間へと人を誘うアプローチは、日本橋の路地を思わせる空間である。ファサードには暗くマットなタイルを整然と配列し、歴史ある街並みに馴染む落ち着きと、現代の建築としての端正さを表現した。その先のエレベーターホールでは、艶のある赤褐色のタイルとクラシカルな照明が現れ、外部の静かな表情との間にコントラストを生み出す。異なる時代の様式が重なりながら発展してきた日本橋の姿を、素材と光が変化するシークエンスとして空間化した。
各階では、艶のあるタイルに包まれた陰影の深い廊下から、木の落ち着いた表情を基調とするラウンジへと空間の質感が移り変わる。歩みとともに場所や人の気配が現れ、路地から大通りへ抜けるように視界が開いていく。会議室には廊下のタイルとラウンジの木質を重ね、二つの領域が交差する場をつくった。
執務エリアは、入居する企業の活動や文化を受け止めるニュートラルな空間とした。街路からエントランス、共用部、専有部へと都市・建築・インテリアを分断せず、日本橋の路地を漂うような感覚を建物全体へと延長したワークプレイスである。
In a typical tenant office building, the design of the architectural common areas and that of the tenant spaces are often treated separately. Here, the façade, entrance, and fitted offices on each floor are conceived as one continuous environment, crossing the conventional boundary between architecture and interior design.
The approach drawing people from the street into the gap between buildings recalls the alleys of Nihonbashi. The façade is composed of orderly rows of dark, matte tiles, balancing a quiet presence that settles into the historic streetscape with the precision of contemporary architecture. Beyond it, glossy reddish-brown tiles and classical lighting emerge in the elevator hall, creating a contrast with the restrained exterior. Nihonbashi—a district shaped by layers of different periods—is translated into a spatial sequence in which material and light gradually change.
On each floor, the atmosphere shifts from a shadowed corridor wrapped in glossy tile to a lounge grounded by the calm expression of wood. As one moves through the space, traces of people and adjoining areas begin to appear, and the view opens as though emerging from an alley onto a broad avenue. In the meeting rooms, the corridor’s tile and the lounge’s wood are brought together, creating places where the two territories intersect.
The work areas are kept neutral, ready to receive the activities and culture of each tenant. Rather than dividing city, architecture, and interior into separate domains, the workplace extends through the entire building the sensation of drifting through Nihonbashi’s alleys—from street to entrance, common areas, and private offices.

日本橋・八重洲は、江戸の商い、明治以降の近代化、現代の再開発と、異なる時代の記憶が折り重なりながら形成されてきた街である。本計画では、この都市の「時間の厚み」を手がかりに、街を歩く体験を建築とインテリアへと展開した。
Nihonbashi and Yaesu have been formed through the overlapping memories of different eras: the commerce of Edo, modernization since the Meiji period, and contemporary redevelopment. Taking this layered sense of time as its starting point, the project translates the experience of walking through the city into architecture and interior space.
